ANH denounces attack against its staff in Guanay and announces criminal proceedings

LThe National Hydrocarbons Agency (ANH) reported that its staff, which carried out controls in the municipality of Guanay, department of La Paz, was attacked by a group of people and announced that he will file criminal proceedings against the perpetrators of the crime.

Jiménez said the attack occurred after ANH officials found a tanker diverting fuel to other containers.

The director of the ANH presumed that the fuel “was being trafficked for illegal mining“and demanded that the Public Prosecutor’s Office undertake a serious investigation against the aggressors.
