Engineer Ariel Espino of the Agricultural Insurance Institute indicated that they have been organizing actions to improve the functioning of the entity for more than 45 days. He stated that the producer is their main focus in terms of insuring their assets.
“The cost of agricultural production for 2024-2025 has already been presented, and based on this, the entire insurance and financing system must be established,” said Engineer Ariel Espino, General Manager of the Agricultural Insurance Institute.
In the 2024-2025 production period, “According to MIDA data, some 18,000 hectares of corn will be planted, of which we must be insuring 50%,” added Engineer Ariel Espino, General Manager of the Agricultural Insurance Institute.
