The news portal El Foco revealed in a report published yesterday that Ana Paula Ganoza Loya, wife of the former regional governor of La Libertad Luis Valdez Farías, purchased a 700 m2 home in the exclusive area of Camacho, in the Lima district of La Molina.
Ganoza, who according to the journalistic report is an “influencer” and would only have a monthly income of up to S/4 thousand, paid S/3.3 million for the property in a public auction held on July 1 in Lima.
The house was owned by the former regional governor of Callao, Félix Moreno Caballero, who is currently in prison in Lima for alleged acts of corruption.

“Moreno’s former house was put up for sale with a base price of S/2.3 million, but ended up being sold for S/3.3 million. Who bought it? A 33-year-old young woman from La Libertad named Ana Paula Ganoza Loya,” reported the aforementioned media outlet.
According to the report, this was the third auction of seized assets managed by Pronabi.
The report also highlights that Ganoza “has a company that he founded last year with S/5,000 called ‘Ponte Bonita By APGL’ and has debts with the banking system for S/108,000.” “Until last November, according to the Sentinel platform, Ganoza had an amber rating in the banking system, which means medium risk,” the portal added.
“Banking advisors who reviewed Ganoza’s credit history indicated that she could only have accessed a maximum loan of S/180 thousand for a house, and that to do so she needed to have a 20% down payment,” he highlighted.
In the case of Valdez, secretary general of APP and senior advisor to the regional governor of La Libertad, César Acuña Peralta, “his financial situation is similar to that of his wife.”
“He has debts of S/ 95 thousand and is considered a medium-risk client. According to Valdez’s last sworn statement on file with the Comptroller’s Office, which dates back to 2022, when he was a congressman, […] He had assets worth S/169 thousand and savings worth S/144 thousand,” he said.
Defenses
El Foco also revealed that Ana Paula Ganoza and her partner, Luis Valdez, “although they have been in a common-law relationship since 2016, on June 18, 12 days before the Pronabi auction, went to a notary to separate their assets.”
Speaking to El Foco, Ganoza said that he acquired the property thanks to a “bank loan”while Valdez maintained that “everything is banked, everything is declared.” “You would have to ask her, I have not participated in the process,” said.
