Another bloody incident, with a regrettable result of one dead and another injured, occurred in a discotheque in the mining town of La Rinconada, Ananea district, San Antonio de Putina province.
Witnesses say the shooting occurred at the nightclub called “Ñustas,” located on Avenida Cuba. Two people were hit by a firearm, one of whom died while being taken to the health center.
According to investigations, another seriously injured person was transferred to a health facility in the city of Juliaca, since the health center in the area was closed.
The deceased was identified as Uriel Casilla Turpo (27). One of his relatives arrived at the health facility and recognized the lifeless body.
Police officers from the Juliaca Criminal Investigation Area and the Ananea prosecutor on duty, Fredy Condori Hancco, are carrying out the procedures for removing the body and then taking it to the morgue.
