Santo Domingo West-, Councilman Michael Matos, president of the Youth4K Foundation, carried out two outstanding school support activities for children in vulnerable situations.
The first activity was held at the Bethesda Family Home, where school supplies were given to the young residents. The day was enriching and emotional, with each child showing a unique story full of potential and dreams. Matos stressed that “the absence of parents does not define a child’s future, but rather the support they receive.”
Later, the Juventud4K team visited the Casa Hogar Niños Felices de Fundesa, located in Batey Caballona. During this visit, more school supplies were delivered and time was spent with the children, who live in residences dedicated to the care of minors without parents. Matos invited the community to visit these places, emphasizing that “empathy can change the destiny of a child without a family.”
The Juventud4K Foundation remains committed to its mission of educating and supporting people in vulnerable situations, promoting a more hopeful future for all children.
