The Housing and Habitat Subcommittee of the National Assembly (AN) will be deployed starting next week in the urban developments of the Great Venezuela Housing Mission (GMVV) to disseminate the laws of the housing sector and strengthen the foundations of the social program.
The president of the subcommittee, deputy Rigel Sergent, offered the information and specified that among the rules that will be discussed with the beneficiaries of the GMVV is the Law of the Benefit Regime of Dwelling and Habitat.
In addition, the parliamentarian added that the upcoming sessions are intended to promote public debate on the Bill on Social Production for Housing and Habitat, the AN refers in its channel from Telegram.
Sergent noted that this regulation “will guarantee the resources and means for self-managed production of habitat, as proposed by the Movement of Settlers to the national Executive.”
Following the statements of several members of the subcommittee, it was agreed that a report on the cases handled by the Permanent Commission on Administration and Public Services, based on the allocations, arbitrary evictions and housing projects, be submitted to the Ministry of Housing and Habitat.
The social program of the GMVV has delivered more than 5 million homes and the construction of 3 million more is planned by 2030.
