Marina Robles and Andrés Lajous will join Claudia Sheinbaum's Cabinet

Who is Andrés Lajous?

The current Secretary of Mobility of Mexico City has a degree in Political Science and International Relations from CIDE.

He holds a master’s degree in planning from MIT and a master’s degree in Sociology from Princeton.

He is a PhD candidate at Princeton and a specialist in urban and mobility issues.

Throughout his career, he has participated as a political activist in various organizations and mobilizations from civil society.

Who is Marina Robles?

The Secretary of the Environment in CDMX has a PhD in Environment and Development from the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC).

She holds a Master’s degree in Marine Ecology from the Center for Scientific Research and Higher Education of Ensenada, Baja California (CICESE). She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Oceanography from the UABC and is a graduate of the Environmental Leadership Program of the Colegio de México (LEAD).

Throughout her professional career she has worked as a researcher and project coordinator at the Center for Environmental Management Specialists, where she has generated, managed and evaluated public policy proposals and projects in environmental matters.

She was also Director of Environmental Education at the Environment Secretariat of the capital government.

According to official information, she is the author of various articles and chapters in scientific and popular books.
