Between 2018 and 2023, the Agency for International Development gave him 111 million pesos; in addition, he specified to Biden that he was attaching the evidence of the evolution of these amounts that have been delivered annually, as he recently showed in his conference. In the four-paragraph letter, López Obrador asks Biden to end this financing because It violates our constitutional principle of non-intervention and self-determination of peoples.

As López Obrador made public a few days ago, the only thing left to do is for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to formalize before the U.S. government the diplomatic note of protest against what it considers financing of groups opposed to a legally and legitimately constituted government. This official dissent from the Mexican government should be made concrete in the next few days.
