Nurses protest: “We have been waiting for the president to value us for 4 years”

With banners in hand, dozens of Nurses Workers from various medical centres protested on Tuesday demanding a salary increase “because they are not eating well” and changes in allowances.

In addition to the pensions promised by the Governmentthat their time in service and the allocation of performance incentives be recognized and that they be guaranteed the continuity of medical insurance upon retirement.

“We have not been heard, we have been waiting for four years for the President of the Republic to value us as he told us we were heroes and heroines,” said a nurse.

The health professionals They expressed their concern about the current conditions in which they work, where they pointed out that one of the biggest problems is unhealthiness, due to the lack of water in the hospital.

They also ask the authorities to take action to ensure a safe and dignified working environment.
