The Bolivian team defeated Ecuador 9-6 (6-4 partial), in the third date of group A of the Conmebol U-17 Futsal tournament. The match was played this Monday at the Arena COP Esc. Óscar Harrison, in the city of Luque, Paraguay.
It is the second victory for the Verde in this tournament, since on Sunday they had defeated the host by 5-3. Bolivia had lost its debut against Colombia by 5-1.
The Bolivian team now has 6 points and is in a fierce fight to qualify for the semi-finals of the championship, since the teams occupying the first two positions in each group will advance to this phase. The other teams in each group will fight for the positions from fifth to ninth place.
Bolivia will play its last match of the group stage on Wednesday against Brazil, This Tuesday is a day of rest. That match is scheduled for 16:45 (HB). La Verde must win to secure a ticket to the semifinals.
