Police officer was shot dead a few meters from the Vraem Police Front (VIDEO)

Third-class warrant officer Carlos Dario Ñahui Rojas (21) was killed a few meters from the Vraem Police Front, in the district of Pichari. His remains were transferred by helicopter to the city of Huancayo, where his family is holding a wake.

Facts

On Sunday, August 18, at approximately 7:45, the young man was walking along the side passage of the former Pichari health center, when he was a few meters from the main door of the Vraem Police Front, some subjects on a motorcycle shot him and fled the scene. There were four bullet impacts that ended his life.

Family demands justice

The remains of the young police officer are being laid to rest in the district of Chilca, province of Huancayo. His wife has called on the Peruvian National Police to continue the investigation and find those responsible. “For me it is a dream, I don’t even have the strength. Now there is no police force (..) I ask for justice to be done”said.

Carlos Dario Ñahui served in the National Police for five years and worked in the intelligence area. His family believes that the murder occurred as a result of one of the cases in which he was involved, and they are therefore asking for the case to be investigated.
