Carmen Prato (24) entered her boyfriend’s residence, set fire to several of his clothing items and the fire spread so much that it caused the death of Alexander Tarazona Torres (19), the woman’s brother-in-law, according to reports.
This incident occurred early last Saturday morning in San Cristóbal (Táchira), in the Villa Country neighborhood, Las Acacias. That day, Prato saw her boyfriend with another woman in an establishment in the capital of Táchira. From there she went to the man’s residence, entered the room, set fire to his clothing and fled.
But the fire spread to the entire house, a situation that was reported to the firefighters who came to put out the flames. During the firefighting work, the officials located in a room the charred body of Manuel Alexander, brother of Prato’s boyfriend. The deceased had returned from Chile and worked as a baker, according to preliminary reports.
Prato had been in a relationship with Manuel Alexander’s brother for two months.
Infanticide
In another incident, Monagas state police officers arrested Gustavo José Seda González (El Guariqueño), accused of murdering his 1 year and 9 month old son, according to reports.
It all happened last Friday inside the Santa Bárbara farm, located in Quiriquire, Punceres municipality, Monagas state. The 24-year-old man attacked the creature with his fists and a belt, causing its death.
For this fact, the owner of the farm where the infanticide occurred, identified as Mario José López Godoy (44), was also arrested, as well as his wife, Soleidy Gabriela Siso and the worker Ricardo José Carreño.
The Polimonagas agents collected the belt used by the subject to mistreat the baby, whose body was admitted to the morgue of the ‘Dr. Manuel Nuñez Tovar’ University Hospital, located in Maturín (Monagas).
