One of the slabs of a balcony in building 3027 in the sector of 12th Street Federico Boyd Avenue in the city of Colón, collapsed leaving four people injured.
These people were taken to the Manuel Amador Guerrero hospital for medical attention, provincial governor Julio Hernández reported on Sunday.
Among those affected is a pregnant woman, who remains out of danger, and others with injuries to parts of their bodies as a result of the fall.
The authorities led by the Governor of Colón, and Pedro Santizo, representative of the Barrio Sur district, have already established contact with MIVIOT.
A report is expected to be drawn up, including a census of the affected families and the rest of those living in the building, in order to find a solution.
