The Central Director of the APU (Uruguayan Press Association) expresses its total rejection of the new public statements by the National Party senator, Graciela Bianchi, in which she admits that she intentionally promotes fake news and participates in disinformation campaigns.
In this context, the CDC (Central Board of Directors) of the APU will contact the authorities of the National Party to remind them of the commitment made publicly in favor of the Ethical Pact against Disinformation, and will demand strong actions to counteract this type of practice.
