The National Social Security Administration (ANSES), the body responsible for administering social security benefits in Argentina, continues with the payment schedule for the month of August, benefiting retirees, pensioners and holders of various allowances.
This Monday, ANSES made the payment of wages to various groups of beneficiaries, according to the ending of their National Identity Document (DNI). The payments include retirement, pensions, Universal Child Allowance (AUH), Pregnancy Allowance (AUE) and other benefits.
Here’s who’s getting paid today: Retirees and pensioners whose ID numbers end in 7 will receive their salaries this Monday. AUH holders with ID numbers ending in 7 will also receive their payments today. AUE beneficiaries with ID numbers ending in 7 will receive their payments this Monday.
All document completions up to September 10 are included in this payment. Regarding the Single Payment Allowances (Marriage, Birth, Adoption), all document completions up to September 10 will receive their payments.
ANSES plays a crucial role in the Argentine social security system. Its mission is to guarantee access to social security benefits and services for all citizens, promoting equity and social inclusion.
ANSES’s main functions include the administration of retirement and pensions, the payment of family allowances, and the management of unemployment programs and other social benefits.
Retirements and pensions
One of the fundamental pillars of ANSES is the administration of retirement and pensions. This system allows workers who have contributed during their working life to receive a monthly income upon retirement.
ANSES is responsible for calculating and paying these benefits, ensuring that retirees and pensioners receive their benefits in a timely manner. The AUH is an economic benefit intended to protect children and adolescents in situations of social vulnerability. This program seeks to guarantee access to education, health and food for minors.
