60% of the voting records have been transcribed by the technical operators of the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) as part of the investigation of the Electoral Dispute requested by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.
At the end of this transcription process, when 100% of the minutes of the results that were issued in the bulletins of the National Electoral Council (CNE) are completed, the international electoral experts and experts will analyze the data to verify the trends of the political organizations that participated in the elections, the Supreme Court reported this Saturday.
This phase of the technical appraisal will consist of validating the total number of vote counts with the results existing in the database of the CNE’s national aggregation centers, to certify the correspondence of the data in the vote counting records and those transmitted by the voting machines.
These minutes, part of the electoral evidence in the investigation of the presidential elections of June 28, were submitted to the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court by the rectors of the Electoral Power for the verification of the results of the presidential elections. With this process, the cycle of validation and certification of integrity will be closed.
The technical appraisal, carried out by highly specialized personnel to guarantee the accuracy and objectivity of the report on the evidence gathered, is extremely important because it will allow the Electoral Chamber to issue a final verdict regarding this electoral dispute.
The TSJ has completed each phase of this investigation in the collection of evidence and proof presented by the parties involved in this electoral dispute.
The only ones who did not provide supporting electoral documents were the representatives of the political organizations Un Nuevo Tiempo, Mesa de la Unidad Democrática and Movimiento por Venezuela, members of the alliance that nominated Edmundo González Urrutia, a former candidate who did not appear before the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court.
