The Venezuelan Penal Forum reported that as of Sunday morning, the 18th, 1,503 people had been arrested in the context of demonstrations against the results of the presidential elections announced by the National Electoral Council.

Foro Penal warned that the National Guard, the National Police, “and unfortunately with the actions of armed groups linked to the Venezuelan State,” are generating a wave of repression similar to that of 2014 and 2017. “Be careful, otherwise it will be much worse if we do not stop it in time.
