The Bolivarian National Police confiscated the popular truck used by María Corina Machado and Edmundo González Urrutia. This happened after the rally in Caracas, when the event had already ended and the team was preparing to protect the vehicle.
The Comando con Vzla reported through its X account that the Bolivarian National Police irregularly confiscated the popular truck used for events and mobilizations by both opposition leader María Corina Machado and presidential candidate Edmundo González Urrutia. This happened after the rally in Caracas, when the event had already ended and the command’s logistics team was preparing to protect the vehicle.
Several videos show a crane identified with the logos of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) leaving the scene with the confiscated truck, followed by a commission of motorcycles and police vehicles escorting the crane officers who carried out the irregular procedure.

This is not the first time that police officers have tried to stop or impede the movement of the truck that has become popular because it functions as a mobile platform on which political leaders travel to the marches and rallies called by the Unitary Platform. Both Machado and Edmundo González use the truck to accompany the mobilizations.
During the rally to start the campaign on July 4, DAET (Dirección de Acciones Estratégicas y Tácticas) officers tried to stop the driver of the vehicle and confiscate the truck’s sound equipment. Machado herself intervened in the procedure to demand that they be allowed to continue, and a group of people who were escorting them managed to allow the truck to continue with the rally.
