Seven wanted for robbery at Vimenca branch in Sosúa

Puerto Plata. The Northern Directorate of the National Police reported that it arrested two men and is looking for seven others who are part of a gang, accused of the multimillion-dollar robbery perpetrated at the branch of the Vimenca Western Union remittance company in the municipality of Sosúa.

Two of those arrested were identified as Jhonny Junior Rosario Castillo (Bobón) and Fannier Burgos de la Cruz (Pistola), both residents of the Los Alcarrizos municipality, in the province of Santo Domingo.

The criminals held several employees at gunpoint, carrying approximately RD$1,500,000 and US$30,577 dollars. Authorities are activating the search for Christofer David Santana, Jose Aneury Sanchez (The Guard), Kendry Alberto (The Wig), Luis Alberto Nunez (The Moreno), Carlos Alberto Valdez (The Para), Luis Aronal Diaz (The Uncle) and Salmo Elias Mena Rodriguez.
