At two high-traffic points in San Félix, women from the PSUV held a banner demonstration in favor of peace and in rejection of the scenarios of violence created by opposition sectors in the country.
The Vista Al Sol economic center and the traffic light located in front of the Casa de la Mujer were the points where women, every time the traffic light turned red, came out onto the red line and with their hands raised carrying a banner, gave a clear message of peace and rejection of hatred.
Oritsy Rojas, commissioner of the PSUV Mujer in Caroní, said that with this event they seek to replicate the message of President Nicolás Maduro, on the rejection of a scenario of conflict in the country, so she assured that with this deployment women will remain in continuous mobilization with an agenda that includes visits to GNB commands to recognize their intense work.
“With the song of peace, we will not allow a minority to try to set the country on fire and repeat what happened in 2014 and 2017, where the hatred of a few surnames thirsty for power contaminated the minds of some by burning schools, CDI, ministries and sympathizers of the revolution,” said Rojas.
The Cleb deputy also explained that these events in streets, avenues and traffic lights will be emulated in different important points of Ciudad Guayana, “to make clear the message that we want to consolidate the construction of a country where we all fit within the framework of respect and recognition.”
Rojas stressed that the deployment of these female peace units has allowed the creation of new spaces in communities, where through debate “and morality, more protagonists join the vanguard led by President Nicolás Maduro.”
