To address the undermining of a sewage pipe, which caused a four-meter-deep collapse on the Gran Cacique Guaicaipuro highway, at the entrance to Maternidad, in the San Juan parish of the capital city, the team of workers from the “Escuadrón Caza Hueco” of the Government of the Capital District were deployed to carry out recovery work on this important road.
The “Escuadrón Caza Hueco” team, with the support of the Ministry of People’s Power for Transport and Hidrocapital, carried out the installation of a new eight-inch pipeline. Later, the asphalt was laid to restore the road to 100 percent, with the filling and compaction.
In this regard, the head of the Government of Caracas, Nahum Fernández, through his account on the social network Instagram, highlighted the priority of keeping the inhabitants informed in order to guarantee their mobility. “The national Government, through the Ministry of Transport, is coordinating efforts to resolve the situation effectively and minimize the inconvenience for citizens.”
