The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reported that this Wednesday, in a raid, one of the terrorists who financed the violent riots that occurred in the community of Petare, east of Greater Caracas, was captured, where drugs and a large amount of cash were found.
The Head of State announced this during a televised address, detailing that the authorities carried out a search in a house in Petare, following a court order, of one of those involved in the fascist violence that occurred in the country on July 29 and 30, after the extremist opposition refused to recognize the election results.
“He was the one who ordered the most to be burned and paid; boxes of a pill called Captagon produced by the United States for its mercenary soldiers were found,” Maduro revealed.
He also explained that the Captagon drug given to criminals was mixed with caffeine to enhance its effects. “They give these criminals a pill and they go out to burn and kill. They have no scruples or limits because it is an accelerator,” he said.
He added that in almost 90% of those arrested, the laboratory test showed that they had consumed Captagon pills.
“They got a lot of money in dollars, which they paid with; they paid with drugs and they paid with bills,” he said.
Terrorist attack on a CDI
President Maduro handed over the “Ludovico Silva” Comprehensive Diagnostic Center, located in the Santa Rosalía parish in Caracas, “brand new” and after being attacked by hordes of fascist followers of the country’s extremist opposition.
In this regard, the Head of Government of Caracas, Nahum Fernández, said that on the day of the attack, about 20 criminals arrived and “started hitting the fence (of the CDI) with a pipe.”
“When the criminals saw the women (from the community) who were very upset, they returned to the highway and set fire to the tires. A man (in a car) passed at full speed and one of the criminals fell and suffered a very hard blow,” he said.
He mentioned that the criminal’s accomplices immediately took him to the CDI, which he tried to burn minutes before, where they gave him first aid and then transferred him to the University Clinical Hospital.
Fascist attack
The president stressed that the nation was the victim of a fascist and criminal attack. “What would have happened if those people took flight and set Venezuela on fire for a week? What would have happened if they seized power and took Miraflores? What would they have done with power? Those people are prepared to govern this country in peace. They are fascists,” he asked.
“A battle is taking place in Venezuela, my compatriots of the great homeland and of the world (…) the triumph of Venezuela is the triumph of democracy, of peace and of humanism (…) here we are defeating fascism.”
Maduro also denounced the fascist and criminal attacks that the country received 15 days ago after the election of July 28, especially against health centers and statues. “I don’t understand how they attack Dr. José Gregorio Hernández, his statue and what he represents.”
“How dare a fascist right-wing group attack the statue of José Gregorio Hernández? (…) It is something I cannot understand and I believe that the people of Venezuela cannot understand. Dr. Hernández is an inspiration for many, as well as the young female doctors who are in charge of caring for the people, they are our inspiration,” he said.
