The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, denounced that extremist sectors of the right and US imperialism use national and international influencers to manipulate the minds of Venezuelans, and explained that “this action seeks to generate violence and destabilization in the country.”
During a meeting of the Motor Emprendimiento (Employment Motor) group held in Caracas, the head of state said that the extremist right has carried out a psychological operation to poison Venezuela through social networks and infect it with hate.
“Just like they tried to do in 2019 with the concert in Cúcuta, where they used singers to try to invade Venezuela and they scammed them, Guaidó stole them, today they use influencers. A certain Lele Ponds announced a concert from Miami, to impose a government in Venezuela, to manipulate the people,” said President Maduro.
In this sense, he repudiated the sectors that try to underestimate the revolutionary force of Venezuela. “They may conspire from Miami, but Venezuelans rule in Venezuela,” said the head of State, while condemning the statements of the influencer Lele Ponds.
