The National Experimental University of Security (UNES) has awarded academic degrees to 24,986 new professionals during the first half of 2024, reported the Sectorial Vice President for Citizen Security and Peace, Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, during the graduation ceremony of 611 new graduates of the Institute of Advanced Studies for Citizen Security.
Among the graduates are doctors, masters, graduates and university technicians. The professionals were trained in various National Training Programs and will play a crucial role in the fight against organized crime, as part of the guidelines of the Great Mission Quadrants of Peace.
Among the aforementioned number of graduates from the first semester of 2024, there are 1,362 from National Advanced Training Programs (PNFA); 645 graduates and 12,620 Senior University Technicians, among which more than a thousand from the Growth Plan of the Bolivarian National Police Corps (CPNB) stand out; as well as 10,359 police officers.
“We are graduating 426 doctors in citizen security, 168 masters and 17 graduates from various National Training Programs nationwide, who through their knowledge will protect the Venezuelan people from organized crime, as established by the Great Mission of Peace Quadrants,” said Ceballos.
The Minister of People’s Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace also stressed that with the training of these professional staff, the homicide rate has been reduced.
“UNES continues its work in training professionals committed to security and peace in Venezuela, thereby consolidating the achievements of the Great Mission of Peace Quadrants,” Ceballos said.
