Santo Domingo.-The president Luis Abinader continues with the moves to form his cabinet with a view to his second term that begins this Friday and on this occasion he appointed José Ignacio Paliza as Minister of the Presidency to replace Joel Santos.
He also appointed Santos to the Ministry of Energy and Mines, replacing Antonio Almonte.
Paliza was already Administrative Minister of the Presidency, and he resigned when he took a leave of absence to direct Abinader’s campaign.

Previously, the president, who will be sworn in for his second and final term this Friday at 10:30 in the morning, appointed the mayor of La Vega, Kelvin Cruz, as the new Minister of Sports, replacing Rafael Camacho.
He also confirmed in their posts the governor of the Central Bank, Héctor Valdez Albizu, and the superintendent of Banks, Alejandro Fernández W.
The president is expected to continue making moves and renewing his government.
