Charred body found in Boleíta

The victim was identified as Carlos Rengifo Bello, 53, who was homeless.

Neighbors found in a lonely area of ​​the Boleíta ravine the completely charred body of a man identified as Carlos Alexander Rengifo Bello, 53 years old, popularly known in the area as Barrabás, who had been homeless for years and made a living helping customers carry bags of fruit and vegetables and taking care of their vehicles.

According to preliminary investigations, Rengifo Bello was found by local residents with a mattress on top of him, also burned.

They immediately contacted the Sucre Municipal Police, who went to the scene to verify the complaint.

According to testimonies from locals and passers-by in the area, Barrabás was a friendly and helpful person, and they assured that he was a calm character.

Police have begun investigations to determine the causes and perpetrators of this incident.
