The National Training and Employment Service (Sence) has launched a call for its free professional driving courses in Chile, aimed at those wishing to obtain the A2 professional license. This license allows driving taxis, ambulances and motor vehicles with capacity for 10 to 17 passengers, and is an excellent opportunity for those interested in advancing their career in the transportation field.
The courseswhich are held in person, have a total duration of 166 hours and are offered in different regions of the country. However, on this occasion, there are only places available in the Los Lagos region, specifically in Puerto Montt, and in the Biobío region, in the towns of Arauco, Antuco and Laja. These programs are not only free, but they also provide participants with the opportunity to acquire valuable skills without incurring additional costs.
To apply for these coursesIn order to apply for a job, four basic requirements must be met. Firstly, applicants must be within the most vulnerable 60% of the population, according to the Social Household Registry (RSH). In addition, it is preferable that applicants have completed secondary education. It is also mandatory to be at least 20 years old and have had a class B driver’s license for a minimum of two years.
The application process is simple and accessible to everyone. Interested parties must enter the Sence website, where they can select the course of interest and press the application button. Afterwards, they will be asked to enter with their Unique Key or Sence key, and complete a form with their personal and contact information, as well as information about their educational level, driver’s license, employment status, among other details.
One of the most notable advantages of this program is that the program itself Sence will be responsible for processing the professional license for participants, at no additional cost. This facilitates the process for those who complete the course, ensuring that they are fully prepared and accredited to enter the workforce with their new license.
