SANTO DOMINGO. – The science fiction film “ALIEN: ROMULUS” arrives in Caribbean Cinemas theaters starting August 15, 2024.
The sci-fi horror film brings back the terrifying character with a story that returns to its roots, following the plot of a group of explorers who, upon discovering a new planet, face an unknown threat that challenges their survival and questions everything they thought they knew about the universe.
Featuring state-of-the-art production and innovative visual effects, “Alien: ROMULUS” delivers an immersive cinematic experience that will captivate fans of the series and new viewers alike.
Produced by Ridley Scott, who directed the original “Alien” in 1979, filming of Alien: Romulus began on March 9, 2023 in Budapest, Hungary, starring Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Isabela Merced, Spike Fearn and Aileen Wu.
Michael Pruss and Walter Hill directed, with Fede Álvarez, Elizabeth Cantillon, Brent O’Connor and Tom Moran serving as executive producers.
