Officials from the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), together with members of various police and security forces, began a deployment in various areas of the state of Guárico, in order to neutralize acts of violence and destabilization caused by criminal groups supported by the extreme right.
The information was released by the commander of the Bolivarian National Guard, Elio Estrada Paredes, through his Instagram account.
“From the state of Guárico, our Bolivarian National Armed Forces and police agencies have deployed strategic and forceful actions against those who try to create unrest and destabilize the peace and tranquility of the people. Maximum security and protection in the Venezuelan plains!” the high-ranking officer said in a message.
The text was accompanied by a video showing the movement and boarding of troops in several helicopters to go to the central entity to confront the violent actions of the so-called “comanditos.”
