The Provincial Civil Defense Platform of Sullana and the Disaster Risk Management working group met to coordinate immediate emergency response actions, within the framework of the National Multi-Hazard Simulation Exercise, which will take place on August 15 at 3 p.m.
The drill will focus on two scenarios: earthquake and fire, with the aim of preparing the population and evaluating the response capacity of the institutions of the Defense Platform and the Disaster Risk Management Working Group, in the face of emergency situations that may arise in our province.

Various authorities were present, including Engineer Alejandro Silupu Carreño, Deputy Manager of Disaster Risk Management; Engineer Sheyla Curay Reyes, Civil Defense Coordinator; and Colonel PNP José Luis Guerra Castillo, head of the DIVOPUS PNP Sullana; as well as representatives of the UGEL Sullana, Serenazgo, Civil Defense of the District Municipality of Marcavelica, Firefighters, among other key institutions.
