The Colombian Football Federation (FCF) and the Government signed a contract for 6.955 million pesos (about 1.72 million dollars) to guaranteer transportation, food and other services of the 24 teams which will be played between August 31 and September 22 the U-20 Women’s World Cup.

This was reported by the FCF, which detailed in a statement that it joined “forces” with the Ministry of Sport to ““support the organization and realization of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia”.
In this regard, the information added, the agreement contemplates land and air transportation; accommodation and food; logistics; services, supplies, technology and health supplies; sports equipment, and clothing.
“The items mentioned were approved by the Ministry’s Directorate of Sports Positioning and Leadership in accordance with the initiative presented by the FCF.“, explained that organization.
An “operational committee” will also be formed to serve as a “consultation body for the correct and efficient use of resources.”
