Mayauri Coromoto Silva Vielma, 49, is one of the 25 people who lost their lives at the hands of the ultra-right gangsters, led by the leader of the Vente party, María Corina Machado, and by the former presidential candidate Edmundo González Urrutia. However, her case has been silenced on social networks and in the opposition media because she is the head of the street and of UBCh in Turmero, in the Mariño municipality of the state of Aragua, that is, because she is a Chavista.
According to information provided by the Attorney General of the RepublicTarek William Saab, Mayauri Coromoto Silva Vielma, also a municipal employee of the aforementioned town, was shot three times on August 3 when she was returning home after participating in a march in support of the Government, along with her daughter, granddaughter and neighbors.
The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, presented on Monday during a meeting of the National Defense Council and the Council of State, a report on the investigations carried out by the Public Prosecutor’s Office into the acts of violence committed by the so-called commandos, which, he said, caused the death of 25 people.
For this reason, the courts issued five arrest warrants, of which those against the perpetrator, the mastermind and the informants have already been executed.
In the town of El Callao, Cirila Gil was brutally murdered by criminals who have already been identified and are currently on the run.
In this regard, the Prosecutor stated that the victim had 48 wounds in the head region, with cutting and contusion-cutting characteristics, “which tells us of an aberrant act of extreme violence,” he said.
“This case sums up the most chilling, brutal and terrifying of the hate crimes committed by the far right on July 28,” Saab said.
During his statement to the Council of State, prosecutor Saab indicated that on July 29 and 30, “the State security agencies took firm and decisive action through which order and social peace were maintained in a timely manner.”
Saab said that, after a survey of the information on each of the cases, it was concluded that, so far, “all of these deaths can be attributed to criminal groups instrumentalized by the so-called commandos,” he said.
Far-right violence targeted the military
Two other cases that have also been silenced are those of First Sergeant of the GNB José Torres, who was killed by a shot to the neck while carrying out public order duties in Maracay (Aragua state). In this regard, prosecutor Saab detailed that during the autopsy of this uniformed officer, a .22 caliber bullet was found in the second cervical vertebra. One person has been arrested for this incident.
The other case is that of GNB officer Yorman Martínez. On July 30, due to intolerance and hatred, he was run over while riding a motorcycle in Porlamar while patrolling. The person responsible was under the influence of alcohol on the day of the incident and was arrested that same day by the security forces.
These are just three of the cases of victims of the so-called “comanditos” who have been silenced. This number grows exponentially when we talk about the injured. During the terrorist acts carried out by these groups, 97 injured people belonging to the State Security Forces were recorded.
“58 belong to the Bolivarian National Police, 32 to the Bolivarian National Guard, six to state police and one to the CICPC,” the Attorney General of the Republic explained last Monday.
More faces of the victims of fascism
In addition to these four victims with their own faces and lives who were cut short by fascist violence, there are another 22 who were also killed by firearms, knives and by being run over.
The murdered persons have been identified as Edgar Aristiguieta, Euris Mendoza, Jeison Spain, Olinger Montano, Anthony Garcia, Jesus Medina, Gabriel Ramos, Luis Hernandez, Cirila Gil, Victor Bustos, Jose Rubio, Carlos Porras, Yorgenis Leyva, Isaiah Fuenmayor, Julio Garcia, Jhon Graterol, Walter Paez, Jeison Bracho, Dorian Rondon, Rances Yzarra, Anthony Moya, Jesus Tovar.
Comanditos left destruction in their wake
In addition to the recorded deaths, these violent groups They also attacked 21 primary schools, seven early childhood education schools, 34 high schools, 12 universities, ten headquarters of the National Electoral Council (CNE), ten headquarters of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and the main headquarters of the Ministry of Habitat and Housing.
Added to this are attacks by the comanditos on several mayors’ offices, 11 installations of the Caracas Metro, a train in Valencia, 38 bus units; 12 patrol cars and 15 motorcycles belonging to security forces were destroyed; six Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers (CDI), a health center, 30 outpatient clinics, a mobile pharmacy; six food storage centers, ten police command headquarters and a radio station.
They also attacked 27 monuments and statues, including those of the Liberator Simon Bolivar, Commander Hugo Chavez, Chief Coromoto, the monument of Blessed Jose Gregorio Hernandez and several plazas.
“This has nothing to do with a peaceful demonstration, as some places around the world have tried to portray it,” the prosecutor stressed during his appearance before the State Security Council.
Swift action of justice
Despite the violent and rapid actions of these terrorist groups, the Venezuelan authorities acted with the precision and immediacy required to stop them and apprehend those responsible for the acts of violence.
In this regard, the head of the country’s criminal case has constantly published the arrest and prosecution of those indicted in these violent actions in the country.
One of the registered cases is that of eight individuals who were arrested while they were carrying out acts of vandalism and burning the headquarters of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela in El Tigre, Simón Rodríguez Municipality, Anzoátegui state.
Likewise, Saab also reported through his X account the arrest of 14 people in the state of Anzoátegui for burning objects, obstructing public roads and besieging institutions.
The prosecutor stated that they will prequalify the crimes of aggravated homicide with treachery and futile and ignoble motives, illegal possession of firearms, criminal association and terrorism, against these detained individuals.
