Almost every month, similar incidents are reported on social media, where electric motorcycles, parked inside homes or workplaces, explode and cause fires, often devastating. The main cause of these accidents is usually the overheating of lithium batteries, when they are left connected to the power supply for a long time.
One of the most tragic cases It happened in June 2023 in Havana, where seven members of a family lost their lives due to a fire caused by the explosion of a motorcycle inside their home.
