They are neighbours but live like enemies. The inhabitants of Cullpa in the district of El Tambo are fighting over a drainage project. On Sunday, the inhabitants of Unión Cullpa and those of Piedra Parada clashed, resulting in injuries and even a woman being thrown into a ditch.

For this reason, yesterday, the residents of Unión Cullpa arrived at the Municipality of El Tambo, seeking explanations from the mayor, César Llallico, since according to what they say, he promised to support them, however, on Sunday he met with another sector that is against the drainage work that they are carrying out with their own means and would be the ones who attacked them.
“They kicked me when I was defending my daughter because they threw her into the mailbox. We just want the drainage to be done. We live in stench and full of mosquitoes.” said Jacinta Ramos Cunyas (63). The protesters came looking for the mayor carrying sewage water in bottles. The mayor of El Tambo, Julio Llallico, said that on Sunday he handed over the file for the comprehensive sanitation work. It will also be transferred to the municipal technical area as was the commitment.
