911 coordinates the deployment of 31 units to assist accident victims in Verón

The accident involved a bus and a truck.

Higüey. -The National Emergency and Security System 911 reports that it managed the deployment of 31 emergency units, including 14 ambulances, to assist more than 20 people who were injured after an accident that occurred on Monday afternoon on the Verón-Bávaro Beltway, La Altagracia province.

According to preliminary reports, three people also died in the accident.

In response to the incident, several emergency units were immediately deployed, including 14 ambulances from the Directorate of Extra-hospital Emergency Services (DAEH); three trucks from the Fire Department; 12 units from the National Police; five units from the General Directorate of Traffic Safety and Land Transport (Digesett); and the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) was notified.

The injured were taken to nearby health centres.
