Farmers set up a blockade in Santa Rosa de la Roca to demand attention to their petition

The Single Trade Union Federation of Indigenous and Peasant Workers of the Northern Corridor of Chiquitania complied with its measure and blocked in the town of Santa Rosa de la Roca, which belongs to the Velasco province.

The peasants of the San Martin sugar mill proposes a list of seven measures which extend to national authorities:

1. Authorize the volume for the San Martín pump and its operation and guarantee the fuel supply for the northern corridor region.

2. The immediate entry of the company responsible for the maintenance of highway F-10.

3. Authorization of biotechnology that is already in our country.

4. Immediate solution to the stability of the dollar, and end the speculative and illegal parallel dollar.

5. The immediate construction of corn storage silos in the municipality of Concepción.

6. The immediate inter-institutional meeting for cooperation purposes for the construction of the peanut processing plant.

7. The immediate continuation of the paralyzed solidarity housing program and those that have companies.
