CNU candidates will be able to use digital documents as identification

The more than 2.11 million applicants for the Unified National Competition (CNU) must present a valid, original identity document with a photo at the entrance to the exam room.CNU candidates will be able to use digital documents as identification

The CNU exams will be held next Sunday (18) in 228 cities, located in all units of the Federation.

The Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI), which created and coordinates the contest, emphasizes that paper copies, even if notarized, will not be accepted under any circumstances. Likewise, photographs of the document will not be accepted, even if they are in the participant’s own smartphone gallery.

Digital documents

The notices for the eight blocks of the competition authorize the use of digital documents for personal identification, which include the e-Title, the Digital National Driver’s License (CNH) and the digital RG.

These must be presented in the respective official applications or through the Digital Documents Portfolio of the federal government’s single digital services portal, Gov.br or application with the same name.

If the candidate chooses to present a digital document, MGI advises that the Gov.br application is already downloaded on the cell phone with the battery properly charged. After the downloadthe application can be accessed even without internet.

Another MGI guideline is that the user should ensure, in advance, that the application is working correctly.

Unified Competition

The first edition of the so-called Enem dos Concursos centralizes the authorized selection processes for the recruitment and selection of federal public servants. According to the MGI, this unified model speeds up the hiring of civil servants, rebuilding the capacity of the agencies after the loss of 73 thousand civil servants in the last six years.

The CNU will select, at once, 6,640 civil servants for 21 federal public bodies (bodies and entities of the direct, autonomous and foundational federal public administration).

The tests have specific objective and essay questions, by area of activity and will be applied in two shifts, next Sunday. In the morning period, the gates will open at 7:30 am and close at 8:30 am, Brasília time.

In the afternoon, registrants will be able to enter the test sites from 1 pm and the gates will close promptly at 2 pm, according to Brasília time. Those who live in states with other time zones must keep an eye on the clock.

Locations

The locations where the tests will be applied are now available for consultation. Candidates must access the Registration Confirmation Card in the candidate area, using their Gov.br website login and password.

Although it is not mandatory, MGI recommends taking the card on the day of the exams because the document contains updated information about the location of the exams, with the times and room where the candidate must appear.

The final results are expected to be released on November 21. The stage of calling for the successful candidates to take office and to hold training courses will begin in January 2025.
