Gas cylinder explosion caused house collapse in Petare

A gas leak and subsequent explosion of a cylinder caused the collapse of a three-story house in the La Planada sector, in the Unión neighborhood, in Petare, Miranda state.

This was reported by the governor of the state of Miranda, Hector Rodriguezwho stated on his Instagram account that so far 13 people have been rescued from the rubble and two people lost their lives in the unfortunate incident.

According to various reports registered on the social network X, commissions from the Capital District fire departments, Miranda firefighters, Miranda Civil Protection, PoliSucre, PoliMiranda, and PNB Divisions were present at the scene of this event to attend to the emergency and help those affected.

The injured, as reported on the aforementioned social network, were transferred to the Domingo Luciani Hospital, in del Llanito and Ana Francisca Pérez de León I and II, in Petare.
