When was the Metrobús inaugurated?

On June 19, 2005, the Government of the then Federal District, now Mexico City, inaugurated the first Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system for the country’s capital.

19 years ago it started operations with the Line 1 in a 20-kilometer stretch over the Insurgentes Avenue.
