South Korea defeating itself three times in goal
South Korea reigned supreme in archery, winning gold in all five events: men’s and women’s individual, men’s and women’s team, and mixed.

But the American, described by Phelps as “the best swimmer of our time,” achieved other historic feats.
She came in first in the 800m freestyle, taking her total to nine gold medals. This equalled the number of women with the most gold medals in Olympic history, Soviet gymnast Larisa Latynina.
With this victory also tied Phelps in the feat of having achieved four Olympic golds in a single swimming event.
Ledecky, 27, also won a bronze medal in the 400-meter freestyle and a silver medal alongside her teammates in the 4×200-meter relay in Paris.
This brings her total to 14 medals in four games, making her the woman with the most medals in the history of Olympic swimming.
Female and male speed in climbing
The speed test in sport climbing has become new world records both in the women’s and men’s events where they both beat themselves.
