Prosecutors specializing in International Legal Cooperation, Organized Crime and Drug Trafficking from Paraguay, Spain and Bolivia met last Friday to “technically address extradition requests of the Uruguayan citizen Gianina Garcia Trochewho is currently in preventive detention for extradition purposes,” Paraguayan media reported.
Specialists carry out the technical legal analysis that allows coordination joint actions to enable extradition of García Troche, wife of the drug trafficker Sebastian MarsetBolivia and Paraguay, to answer before the courts for the commission of the illegal acts attributed to them, based on the investigations carried out by each of the countries.
Gianina García Troche has been detained in Spain since July 17.
“Also, in response to a probable request for extradition of Gianina Garcia Trocheby the competent authorities of the Plurinational State of Bolivia to the Spanish justice system, the representatives of the three States, meeting virtually, agreed to coordinate joint actions and efforts to ensuring the application of justiceand maintain the International cooperation in the fight against transnational organized crimein all its forms, in order to achieve rapid and effective management in this process of international significance, as well as avoid impunity of the participants in the events under investigation,” said a statement from the Paraguayan Prosecutor’s Office, cited by various media outlets.

Gianina Garcia Troche has proceedings against him for: fmaterial and ideological alsityuse of a falsified instrument and others, crimes reported by the Segip (General Personal Identification Service) after showing that this woman had documents with a false identity.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office is also pursuing other proceedings for crimes linked to the illegal activities of her partner, Uruguayan drug trafficker Sebastián Marset.
