On the other hand, there is the parliamentarian Kira Alcarraz, investigated for passive coercion, and the former members of Acción Popular, José Arriola and Jorge Flores, both investigated for the alleged crime of extortion in the so-called ‘Mochasueldos’ case. Heidi Juárez, former parliamentarian for APP, and Edgar Tello are also investigated for the aforementioned case and now make up the Podemos Perú bench.
Francis Paredes, who has also joined Luna’s parliamentary group, is under investigation for alleged influence peddling and has been proposed as the new president of the Social Inclusion Commission.
Finally, Luis Picón, who has been proposed as the new president of the Health Commission, has a four-year suspended prison sentence for incompatible negotiations while he was regional president of Huánuco.
