Disapproval of Dina Boluarte reaches 91% and rejection of the Ministry of Infrastructure grows

Disapproval of the President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte Zegarra, continues at alarming levels, reaching 91% according to the latest survey conducted by Datum.

This high disapproval rate reflects the growing discontent of citizens with Boluarte’s management, particularly on key issues such as the creation of the Ministry of Infrastructure.

In her recent presidential address, Boluarte presented this initiative as a solution to improve the conditions of the country. However, 59% of those surveyed said that the president did not mention anything relevant in her speech.

Furthermore, the proposal to create the Ministry of Infrastructure faces considerable opposition, with 52% of citizens against it and only 38% in favour.

Another critical point highlighted in the survey is the perception of the composition of the ministerial cabinet. A resounding 87% of those surveyed thought that Boluarte should have made changes to his team of ministers.

The survey also addressed the election of Eduardo Salhuana as president of Congress, a decision that has generated rejection among the population. 62% of citizens were against this appointment.

On the other hand, the management of the mayor of Lima, Rafael López Aliaga, is also not exempt from scrutiny. The Datum survey reveals that 69% of Lima residents disapprove of his performance as mayor.
