Farmers from the Northern Corridor of Chiquitania announce a blockade starting Monday, demanding 7 points

The blockade responds to six demands from the sector.

3. Authorization of the biotechnology which is already in our country.
4. Immediate solution to the dollar stabilityand stop the speculative and illegal parallel dollar.
5. The immediate Construction of corn storage silosin the municipality of Concepción.
6. The immediate inter-institutional meeting for cooperation purposes for the construction of the peanut processing plant.
7. The immediate continuity of the solidarity housing program paralyzed and those that have companies.

Between Friday and Saturday, the blockades in Palomethyllas, San Julián and Cuatro Cañadas, which were demanding the authorization of new biotechnology events for agricultural production, lifted their pressure measures. This was after their leaders had met with representatives of the Government, which promised to speed up two biotechnology events to lift the blockades.
