Oriente Petrolero and Blooming will face each other this Sunday at the Tahuichi Aguilera stadium, within the framework of the eleventh date of the Clausura tournament of the Professional Division of Bolivian soccer. This important match for the aspirations of both teams, should begin at 19:30.

The Refineros are locals this time and arrive in third place in the standings, with 16 points, behind Bolívar (23 points) and The Strongest (21); while the Santa Cruz academy has 15 points.

For this reason, it is crucial for both teams to win this match, because it will put the team that takes the three points in dispute in a promising position.

The Albiverdes come into this match after tying Royal Pari 0-0 in the last match and had previously lost in Oruro against GV San José, after having achieved four consecutive victories with their new coach Joaquín Monasterio.

For their part, the Celestes are coming from losing against Aurora (1-0) in Cochabamba, although they had previously beaten Nacional Potosí (4-1) in Santa Cruz.

The Celestes played those last two games without having trained normally because the squad decided to stop as a measure of pressure for the late salaries, a problem that was partially resolved this Saturday with the cancellation of a salary and the squad had some motivation for this attractive match.

In Oriente, the problem is the absences for this match, since Franz Gonzales is recovering from an injury and Gilbert Álvarez was sent off in the match against Royal Pari. The good news in the Refinero camp is that Marcos Riquelme has overcome his injury and will be able to play in the classic.

Oriente Petrolero put 23,000 tickets on sale and it is expected that tickets will sell out for this attractive Santa Cruz derby.

This will be the 201st Santa Cruz derby, taking into account the foundation of the Bolivian Professional Football League in 1977. Oriente Petrolero has a total of 78 victories, against 60 for the Santa Cruz academy, and there have been 62 draws.

The other match of the Sunday will be between Aurora and Wilstermann. The match is scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m. at the Félix Capriles stadium in the city of Cochabamba.

The team from the town will play at home in this duel and coincidentally both teams arrive with 14 points to the classic from Cochabamba, although they had different luck in the tenth round.

Aurora beat Blooming 1-0 at home, while the Viadores lost their visit to Bolívar 2-0.
