For the week of August 10-16, 2024, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM) reported that fuels are sold at the following prices:

Premium gasoline will be sold at RD$290.10 per gallon, maintaining its price.
Regular Gasoline RD$272.50 per gallon maintains its price.
Regular Gasoil RD$221.60 per gallon maintains its price.
Gasoil Óptimo RD$239.10 per gallon maintains its price.
Avtur RD$190.72 per gallon down RD$5.88.
Kerosene RD$219.70 per gallon down RD$6.70.
Fuel Oil #6 RD$158.97 per gallon down RD$2.56.
Fuel Oil 1%S RD$176.01 per gallon down RD$3.25.
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) RD$132.60 per gallon maintains its price.
Natural Gas RD$43.97 per m3 maintains its price.

The average weekly exchange rate is RD$59.60 according to daily publications of the Central Bank.

The Vice Minister of Domestic Trade, Ramón Pérez Fermín, reported this Friday that the government of President Luis Abinader reaffirms its commitment to support the population through the extraordinary subsidy by keeping the prices of the main fuels unchanged.

Pérez Fermín explained that regular diesel will be subsidized with more than 15 pesos per gallon, premium diesel more than 9 pesos per gallon, and regular gasoline will be almost 18 pesos per gallon. gallon Premium is already almost 12 pesos per gallon, while LPG will be almost 12 pesos the same.

“These extraordinary subsidies to the prices of fuelsare a relief to the family economy, preventing international increases from affecting our market,” said the vice minister.
