According to a report by La Oroya Informa, the incident occurred at approximately 3:40 a.m. at kilometer 140 of the Central Highway, when the driver positioned himself on the side of the road, six criminals appeared and began to beat him. Upon seeing the scene, the driver’s son, only 15 years old, started the vehicle and went looking for help.
