Ceballos: Maria Corina’s website lacks absolute transparency

Ceballos: Maria Corina's website lacks absolute transparency

After his appearance before the Supreme Court of Justice, former presidential candidate Daniel Ceballos (Voluntad Popular), when asked about the website https://resultadosconvzla.com/where María Corina Machado published alleged minutes of the presidential elections, she responded: “How can I give importance to a website that lacks absolute and total transparency,” asked Ceballos, who recalled that “we all know how a file can be modified, how a photo can be modified…how can I validate that, give priority to that over the institution.”

After making this statement, the former mayor of San Cristóbal (Táchira) called on Venezuelans to avoid falling into deceptions or fantasies about solutions to Venezuelan problems.

“I call on Venezuelans to be realistic and not to buy into these fantasies again, which also push the solution to our problems to third parties,” Ceballos said upon leaving the Electoral Hall.

There are inconsistencies

Claudio Fermín also attended the event yesterday highest court in the country to appear before the Electoral Chamber. When making statements to the media, he said he observed an inconsistency in leaders who say they have presidential election records but do not provide them when they are requested. This is in reference to what was said on Wednesday by Manuel Rosales and Simón Calzadilla, candidates of Edmundo González Urrutia, who did not submit any record to the Electoral Chamber, claiming that they were already published on a website.

“It is incomprehensible that those who claim to have the records do not submit them… the authority to resolve this matter is the Electoral Chamber of the TSJ, the authority to resolve this matter is not the networks, it is not a virtual court of web pages,” declared the former candidate.

In the afternoon, Antonio Ecarri also appeared before the TSJ, who also filed an appeal before the Constitutional Court so that the court can review the actions carried out by the Electoral Court.
