Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López said that the cohesion of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) maintains the stability and defense of the country, despite the continued attacks by the extremist right-wing opposition with the support of certain governments around the world.
During a video conference with the Higher General Staff, Padrino López highlighted the importance of the unity of the FANB for the good of the country.
“Let’s put our eyes where we have to put them, which is the stability of Venezuela, which is the cohesion of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, which is the defense of the Homeland from the patriotic ranks,” Padrino López said in an audiovisual material that he shared through the social network X.
He also highlighted the anti-imperialist character of the military institution, which immediately managed to restore public order after the violent acts of July 29, following the election day.
He highlighted the recovery of the FANB information systems that were sabotaged by the opposition, while denouncing the hate attacks by this extremist sector, through WhatsApp messaging against the country’s military.
In this regard, he stressed the importance of confronting the psychological warfare that the right is trying to impose on the Venezuelan population.
He also reported on the inauguration of the International Cadet Games this August and announced the Ayacucho Plan to be developed in the FANB, reported AVN.
