In the morning he received the governors of Nuevo Leon, Samuel Garcia; of Aguascalientes, Teresa Jimenez; of San Luis Potosi, Ricardo Gallardo; of Coahuila, Manolo Jimenez; of Zacatecas, David Monreal; of Tamaulipas, Américo Villarreal; of Durango, Esteban Villegas, and the governor-elect of Veracruz, Rocio Nahle.
In a conference with the leaders, organized in a hotel in the capital of the country where the meeting was held, the future president explained that they established as a priority the infrastructure works for drinking water and agricultural irrigation, for which each of the states has very defined projects.

He stressed that, to achieve this, he will work institutionally with all governors, without regard to party colors.
He clarified that he will discuss the issue of security with the governors until he makes the appointments of the heads of the Navy and National Defense secretariats.
